Divide players into 3 equal groups. Place 1 pole, 1 hoop and 1 small hurdle about 15 meters away from the goal and spaced 3 meters apart. Every group of players stay near an aparatus with a ball for each player. Behind each aparatus place a cone about 5 meters back. The goalkeeper defends the goal.
- The exercise begins with the coach calling 2 of the 3 aparatus (pole and hoop in the figure)
- The related players run back to round the cone behind them
- The first player called is the striker, the second player is the defender
- After getting around the cone the striker collects the ball near the aparatus and attacks the goal. The defender tries to block the action playing 1 vs 1
- After finishing the action, players go to back of their line and the next player steps up
- The first player called is the defender, the second player is the striker
- The first player called doesn't move, the second is the striker, and the third not called is the defender
